IVORI One care: hygiene, storage and damage checks

Keep your mouthpiece personal, allow it to dry after the cleaning routine specified in your product instructions and pay attention to changes in its condition. These everyday habits belong alongside the cleaning instructions for your IVORI One.

Keep one mouthpiece for one person

Do not share your mouthpiece. The American Dental Association's toothbrush-care guidance advises against sharing toothbrushes because this can transfer bodily fluids and microorganisms.

In a shared bathroom, keep track of which mouthpiece belongs to each person. A quick rinse does not make a used mouthpiece suitable to share.

Use the cleaning method for each component

A mouthpiece, a powered handle and charging equipment have different roles. A cleaning instruction for one part should not be applied to the whole device.

  • Mouthpiece: check the IVORI One instructions for its cleaning method and whether removal is required.
  • Handle: follow the handle's own directions. Do not assume it can be rinsed or submerged.
  • Charging equipment: keep it away from water and follow its care instructions.

Do not improvise with boiling water, a dishwasher, strong cleaners or a sanitising appliance. Only use a method expressly allowed for that component. If you cannot find clear instructions, ask IVORI before trying it.

Give a cleaned mouthpiece time to dry

General ADA guidance recommends letting toothbrushes air-dry after cleaning. It also notes that keeping a moist toothbrush in a closed container encourages more microbial growth than open-air storage. Apply this hygiene principle alongside the product's own storage directions.

Before putting a mouthpiece in a travel case or cover, finish its cleaning and drying routine specified in your product instructions. A cover protects during storage; it does not clean the part.

This general hygiene advice does not establish IVORI One's water resistance or which cleaning products it can tolerate.

Check for changes in condition

Look over the mouthpiece and handle regularly. If you notice a tear, crack, loose part or a change in how the mouthpiece fits, stop using the affected part and contact us. Do not modify a connector or force a damaged part back into use.

For a replacement question, use our mouthpiece selection guide. Follow the product's replacement guidance rather than treating a general toothbrush replacement timetable as an IVORI One specification.

When to ask for help

If residue remains after you have followed the cleaning routine specified in your product instructions, do not keep adding stronger cleaners or scraping the part. Contact IVORI with your order number and the steps you followed. Have a clear photo of the product ready if the team asks for it.

If use causes pain or bleeding, stop and ask your dentist for advice. Product support can help identify the device or part, but cannot diagnose a dental problem.
